April 15 2026 Heather Ford ruler demonstration.

Welcome to April. The chill of a crisp Autumn morning followed by very welcome sunny days and the beauty of the stunning colour change of the deciduous trees which are such a big part of our Adelaide Hills landscape. Is there anywhere better to live?!!

Well what a meeting we had this month. We were thrilled to have Heather Ford give a display of using rulers (templates) in quilting. I don't think anyone had any idea the fantastic and comprehensive demonstration Heather would give. She bought about 50 quilt tops using around 10 different rulers. Who knew there were so many rulers.

We managed to photograph most of the quilts Heather bought to display. Most quilts will be in order of the accompanying ruler used to create it but some may be out of whack.. sorry! We also had our own show and tell with an additional few photos sent in by Roseanne from Queensland.
