A warm spring day saw a big turn out to our October meeting where we were joined by many Piccadilly quilters.
This month we had a visit from Robyn and Vicki representing the Mary Potter Hospice Foundation (part of Calvary Hospital). They gave a talk on how valuable the donated quilts are to the comfort of patients and families and also collected an amazing 75 quilts made with love by both Woodpatch and Piccadilly Quilters to distribute to patients in hospice care.
Back in August as part of the 10 year anniversary of the quilt program, MPHF invited members of groups to come to a thank you morning tea. A small group of Woodpatch and Piccadilly Quilters attended. If you are on facebook, below is a link to the story with some photos of the attendees on the MPHF facebook page. (copy this web address into your web browser to get to the page)

As a treat this month, our committee organised a delicious baked potato lunch. What a feast!
Many members are going on quilt retreats this time of year, mostly to Mannum and some to Burra so there were many small conversations around organising those relaxing (who am I kidding!!) weekends.
Some members have been very busy since last month producing a few (or a lot if you are Diana) of quilts, many for donating to Mary Potter.
The variety of quilt patterns and colours was astounding. Too many to photograph them all, but here is a selection of this months show and tell. Enjoy.
